I would like to apologise for the narrow mindedness of the people of The Shire. I knew that a lot were racist adn that they have issues of ownership, little hobbits that they are. It's just disgusting and shameful now. I don't want to be associated with The Shire. I get the feeling that this is just going to keep escalating until something really bad happens and the government gets up and does something. I'm not sure that even that will stop it.

This kid just got hit by a car at the end of my street. He got taken away by careflight. Apparently he just went across the road in front of cars. A prime example of why speed limits should be obeyed cos when you do 50 along that bit of road you have so many people on your bum trying to do 70.

While I was reading books for my Rehabilitation of Public Offenders essay I came across this ( little gem. )
If I ever needed anything to convince me not to use outdated sources that was it. Some points he made are still relevant but you can tell it was written in the 1950s.

Also I got offered a placement because I am "a good student" and the professional practice coordinators decided I was the lucky third year to get this thing. Now I just need to see if I can fit it in. It meant I finally had to give up Maestro though. Now I just need to fit in the equivalent of 2 part time jobs and uni :S

My computer is dead. I had an exam, it was OK, which usually means I didn't do very well. Lots of other people thought it was OK too though. So either none of us did very well or we all did well and it actually was easy. Who knows? Anyway back to readings then bed for work tomorrow joy. My life is only fun on the weekends and in between uni and work bits now.

Also we have a tom cat in our laundry to take to the vet in the morning. He's been hanging around a few weeks and has Tig really freaked out. Anyway dad and I caught him when we got home. He's a bit beaten up and he was starving. So he's off to the vet's in the mornign to get his wounds checked and see if he's chipped. He's absolutely gorgeous. Can't keep him because Tig is so scared. If anyone that lives nearby wants a lovely cat I'll let you know if he isn't claimed or no-one wants him. He's only a baby and he's got the loveliest nature, very clever too...he worked out our sliding door in a matter of minutes.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...i.e. I enjoyed Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Best part the small child who blew raspberries every time something mushy happened and yelled out "A TICKET!!!" Best kid. So many amusing drug references for parents.
